Qualifications

Must be a problem solver who can develop solutions to complex problems independently. Must be able to successfully develop manufacturing processes and machine programs to produce customer-designed parts and assemblies. Must be able to set up and operate CNC machines including turret punches and laser cutting equipment. Vast knowledge of machines, software, materials, work instructions, quality assurance, and processes are required to accomplish this goal. Attention to detail in manufacturing methods and machine programs. Strong quality focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.

Duties

  • Maintain a safe, positive, productive, and ethical work environment
  • Use ERP software (Kinetic by Epicor), Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Radan, and Cadman to design manufacturing methods and interpret customer requirements
  • Jointly support engineering and production departments as demand requires
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and with accuracy
  • Collaborate with customers concerning manufacturing process and designs
  • Provide technical support to operations and quality department
  • Design tooling and fixturing as needed to support customer products
  • Set up and operate CNC programs on Amada Turrets or LVD Strippit Punch Laser
  • Complete first article inspection reports
  • Accurately interpret drawings and measure parts for compliance and control points collection
  • Perform both visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with AS9100 QMS
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC and related equipment utilizing factory support
  • Review and implement continual improvement to manufacturing methods through the ECR system
  • Communicate well verbally and in writing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete other duties as assigne
