Must have excellent communication and mechanical skills. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and measuring equipment. Must be quality and detailed orientated as a Deburrer. Works well with team members and other departments. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Maintain a safe and ethical work environment
Work directly with Production Manager to ensure that job priorities are established
Use ERP software (Kinetic by Epicor) to build and execute the production schedule
Follow Work Center guidelines
Check Job Traveler for specific and/or special instructions
Interpret blueprints
Remove raised particles and shavings that appear on part
Filing or use of grinder to smooth away nicks and fragments
Hand sanding or use of straighliner for more troublesome deformities
Work from drawings/prints to produce Quality conforming parts
Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to quality standards
Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials
